NYC Accelerator is a program of the NYC Mayor’s Office of Climate & Environmental Justice designed to mobilize real estate stakeholders on a pathway to decarbonization, meet compliance with local building energy laws, and improve the health and safety of New York City’s one million buildings.

As an NYC Accelerator Service provider, we provide Refrigerant Management Services that support projects to reduce energy and water consumption and reduce New York City’s carbon emissions.

Services Hudson Offers:

• On-Site R-Side® Services: Systems will be operational in a fraction of the time compared to traditional methods. Minimizing downtime while maximizing efficiency. Our services can remediate contaminants from systems that impede heat transfer which leads to improved energy efficiency, reduced operating costs, and lower carbon footprint.
  For Example:

• Moisture reduction to increase system efficiencies and reduce energy consumption.
• Refrigerant flushes to remove contaminants from degraded refrigerant.
  • Regains lost system capacity and restores heat transfer efficiency.
• Refrigerant Recovery & System Conversions: HVAC system conversions will become a greater part of the conversation between building owners, system operators, engineers, and contractors as we enter the next step-down in the AIM Act. With a 40% virgin HFC reduction underway, the impacts can be felt across all sectors as building owners consider transitioning their equipment to lower GWP solutions.
• Refrigerant Reclamation: Reclaiming, recertifying, and reusing refrigerants reduces waste and greenhouse gas emissions. Reclamation enables recovered refrigerant to be reused and has reduced the impact of new refrigerant production on the environment. Hudson pays for used refrigerant, which helps fund system conversions.
• Proactive System Maintenance: Regular analysis allows owners to detect issues early before they escalate. Hudson has the expertise to diagnose root cause of the contaminants and remediate them. Our analysis can show excess oil levels, particulates, moisture, contaminants, refrigerant quality and purity.
