Reclaiming the Future- Capitalizing on Emissions Reduction Opportunities in Refrigerant Management

Thank you for your interest in attending the Climate Week event “Reclaiming the Future- Capitalizing on Emissions Reduction Opportunities in Refrigerant Management”, hosted by Hudson Technologies. The event will take place on Monday, September 23, from 11:30 am to 1:00 pm at NASDAQ, 151 West 43rd Street, 10th Floor, West Cafe. Refreshments will be provided.

This event is a panel discussion around the impactful, soon-to-be-released RMI report on assessing the climate impacts of refrigerant reclamation. Effectively managing refrigerants at the end of their life is a critical action in the fight against climate change. Expert panelists will discuss the report’s findings on how the U.S. can further reduce greenhouse gas emissions from the refrigerant sector by stimulating the recovery and subsequent reclamation of the widely used refrigerant R-410A from end-of-life residential equipment.

The conversation will also address how reclamation initiatives can reduce building and facility emissions and do so cost-effectively. As the United States participates in a global movement to phase down HFCs, we look forward to convening this knowledgeable group of industry and non-profit experts to share perspectives on managing the gaps between supply and demand during the phasedown while seizing a tremendous emission reduction opportunity through improved lifecycle refrigerant management.
