If you have empty cylinders you need to return, Hudson can help. We can take back your empty cylinders and can work with you to transport in compliance with the Department of Transportation (DOT) hazardous materials requirements. Hudson Technologies can provide a pre-paid BOL, or coordinate truckload pick-up of customer held GFP (Government Furnished Property) cylinders.
GOVERNMENT FURNISHED PROPERTY CYLINDERS — HYDROSTATIC TESTING AND REFURBISHMENT

By law, refrigerant recovery cylinders must be tested and recertified every five years. We make the process easy and can save you from costly penalties for using out-of-date cylinders. As a DOT (Department of Transportation) and TC (Transport Canada) approved hydrostatic test facility, we will:
- Arrange all shipping
- Thoroughly test all your cylinders with our state-of-the-art equipment; expansion tank testing
- Internal and external visual inspection
- Re-valving of cylinders
- Sand blast
- Complete paint removal and repainting in accordance with MILSPEC Standards
- Stamping and documentation
- Provide you with recertification documentation

While this can be measured by the millions of pounds we have reclaimed to AHRI 700 standards, we are most proud of partnering with our customers to reduce the overall environmental impact refrigerants have on our world.
Hudson Technologies is EPA-certified and one of the largest refrigerant reclaimers in the nation. We operate multiple state-of-the-art reclamation facilities throughout and have two laboratories certified by the Air Conditioning, Heating and Refrigeration Institute (AHRI). In addition, all our reclaimed refrigerants undergo strict quality control inspections to ensure that they meet or exceed AHRI 700 standards for purity.
